Special Workshops

I host three special workshops per year. The first one this year was called 'Rustique, the second 'Bouillabaisse' and the third was 'Bon Voyage'. (All french terms).

There is always a great group of ladies that get together to scrap and they are treated to special teas and lunches. This was the 'Rustique' day in March 2019.




In June we got together for another special day and the ladies were treated to another French treat of 'Bouillabaisse' in a French Bistro theme.

To finish off the year we had a French themed Café lunch and tea in the garden and made travel pages.

A wonderful year of 'specials'.

It has been years since I posted anything on my blog! I have fallen off the blogging bus  in a big way, but I have made the decision to try to post some of my work more regularly!

This coming weekend I am holding a special day using the Penelope Dee range of Rustique paper. This is just one of the pages everyone will be making. I love to keep the pages clean, classic and simple, so that one can 'Focus on the Photos.'

That is after all why we scrap - to save our photos in creative and interesting ways.

• There will be kits for sale with a donation from each kit going to Tape Aids for the Blind.
• We will be collecting donations for Tape Aids for the Blind.
• You will be allocated seating in groups of 5 at large round tables. 
• There will be a few basic supplies for sale.

SCRAPFEST EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED

·        Cutting mat

·        Craft knife/cutting tool

·        Small, sharp pointed pair of scissors

·        6mm and 12mm double sided tape

·        Glue dots, liquid and foam adhesives

·        Pencil, ballpoint pen and ruler

·        Fine black pen

·        Pin for pricking holes and a pricking pad

·        Pairs of tweezers

·        Emery board

·        Chestnut Roan chalk  ink

·        Long edge punch with fairly narrow design

·        Paint brush with fine tip and container for water

·        1 dull  blue button 1.5 – 2cm in diameter

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT

·        Non-stick craft mat

·        Bone folder
