Extra cards from the October Kit of the Month
It is always a great idea to make greeting cards from the left overs of a scrapbook page. This is because everything is already colour co-ordinated so there is not too much thinking to be done as far as colours are concerned.
I also try not to re-cut the pieces of paper scraps. I use them just the way they are except for a bit of tweaking if necessary.
Ink the edges of the cards to give them a bit of a border and some interest. The one above is inked and the one below is not. It really makes a difference.
Do I put a lot of time and effort into greeting cards...sorry no I don't. I would rather put my time and effort into a scrapbook page which will be kept (hopefully) for a life time, rather that a greeting card which is often tossed without so much as a quick glance.
