EASY STORAGE SOLUTIONS

The following photos show some great ideas for easy STORAGE SOLUTIONS
for your scrapbooking supplies:

Use the boxes from the albums to store your off-cut paper.
Label the 'spine' with the appropriate colour.

Use an old printers tray to store your Washi tape.
You could also use a cutlery tray.

Store your lettering in zip-up bags and hang them on the wall.
Easy to grab and go.

Store foam letters in a plastic divider box.
So easy to pick through to find your letters.

Thanks Reinette for the top three ideas and Ronel for the letter idea.

WINNER OF THE FEBRUARY BLACKBOARD CHALLENGE

What you could use for the February blackboard challenge was...

Congratulations goes to MICHELLE AZZIE for her page shown below.

The 'Selfie' was the focus of her layout with the border punch, tags and arrow well integrated into the design. Her doodling formed a significant part of the page and was very relevant to the theme of the layout. The doodling was a hand drawn copy from a patterned piece of paper. Completing the page was the journaling making the page so much more meaningful.  Well done Michelle!

Thanks goes to the other participants for entering super pages into the contest as well.

Reinette de Villiers

Ephemera

What does one do with all the souvenirs that you collect whilst traveling?
This single page idea should help you. It is perfect for the back of an album.

Arrange paper bags of varying sizes, together with tags and labels that you may have collected to create a layered look. Place this on a backing sheet of paper, place a piece of ribbon over the left hand edges and stitch by machine through all the layers to keep them together.

Stick this whole layered piece onto the page protector and
slip the background page inside the page protector.

Add photos, labels, postcards and any other ephemera you may have to the various layers.
Tuck cash slips and any extras inside the packets.
You can embellish the layers with rubber stamping, buttons and Washi tape.
